The TORO EVO was a very succesful kayak in 2009, with the second place of Boris Neveu ( France) at the Worlds in La Seo d´ Urgell and the gold and the silver at the ME U23 thanks to Vavra Hradilek ( CZ) and Boris Neveu ( FR).
That´s why the best paramaters of the TORO EVO were retained and some of the new ideas of our designers were included into the new kayak. A lot of top world kayakers participated in the design of the new kayak . Important ideas were put forward by David FORD, Jure MEGLIC, Alex GRIMM, Dejan KRALJ , Vavra HRADILEK, Mike DAWSON and Ciaran HEURTEAU.

Specifications

The adjustment of the rear part of the hull has created a very well turning and very stabil kayak. Its speed is not reduced compared to the TORO EVO and based on the feedback from the top world kayakers after testing we expect the ECHO will again be a kayak of huge interest to our customers. The front part of the boat the ECHO has also been changed to go more easily under the poles of gates. The combined changes have again improved the boat’s dynamics. The ECHO is always hand built to your personal needs, such as weight, so you can be assured of the best performance.

The boat can be ordered in five different material modifications.

CARBOLIGHT
Our highest quality racing boat. This lay-up is for the most demanding slalom racers, addressing not only performance but also appearance. We use a combination of 3 types of foam core, MGS epoxy system and superior vacuum bag technology. A carbon surface is laid over a durable carbon/kevlar combination inside the boat. Although seamless on the outside (except for the bow and stern tips for extra protection), it has double seams on the inside. With this new improved construction, we bring to the market a very strong boat with good resistance to damage.

PROFI
High performance racing construction. We use vacuum bag technology, a combination of 2 kinds of foam core (Spheretex hull), MGS epoxy system, SGL carbon/aramid fabric, outside-inside aramid seams and hard foam-pillars (Styrodur), Suitable for shallow and rocky rivers.

Accessories: anatomical carbon/kevlar seat.
Weight: 8.8-9.4 kg

FLEXIBLE
For beginners and racers. MGS epoxy system, SGL carbon/aramid fabric. HULL: 70 % carbon/aramid and 30%glass fabric. DECK: 30% carbon/aramid and 70% glass fabric, vacuum bag technology, Spheretex foam core.
Outside-inside aramid seam and hard foam-pillars (Styrodur).

Accessories: anatomical carbon/aramid seat.
Weight: 9.2-10 kg

MIXT
Economical construction for beginners. We use epoxy resin, E-glass fabric, 2 layers of SGL carbon/kevlar fabric and stiffening ribs in the hull, outside aramid and inside diolen seam, hard foam-pillars (Styrodur).

Accessories: anatomical glass seat.
Weight: 9.8-10.2 kg.

DIOLEN
Economical construction for beginners. We use epoxy resin, E-glass fabric, 2 sq meters of SGL carbon/aramid fabric under the seat and stiffening ribs in the hull, outside aramid and inside diolen seam, hard foam-pillars(Styrodur).

Accessories: anatomical glass seat.
Weight: 10.0-10.6 kg.
